There was a brief moment when the GPU was recognized. But then in subsequent project openings I got a message about "not recognized or not supported." Every time following that all I got was my project opening fine but the option to select GPU acceleration grayed out.
My card is working fine and in the list, so I guessed that the GPU snoop reading the list was flaking out. Hey, maybe all it needed was terminating the last line. All I can say for sure is that when I made the change it instantly worked.
