As I said in my solution. I installed it on a drive with Mt. Lion with the basic System Software.
I notated the date and time to locate all the prefs and settings when Dreamweaver opened.
I then went back to the creative cloud app. and uninstalled the app (not prefs- I might want to install it again) on the Mt. Lion Drive.
Started up the Lion drive - opened the creative cloud app. Installed DW CC 2014 BUT did not start it up (as I know it won't open). I then copied all of those prefs and setting from the Mt Lion drive to the problem (Lion) drive.
Finding them was easy as I located all of them in the list view with modified as the sort priority and chose the date and time of the DW ones. So I know not to move any other Adobe files.
**** Now I did this with exposing my drives invisible files as well. I don't remember if I actually took any of those to copy. Try it without exposing invisible files and I think it will work as well.
Voila - it starts up. Be aware that when you want to open an html file or such you will see invisible files in the open dialog box. Ignore them- I think it is a bug. This has nothing to do with me exposing my invisible files as I toggled them off or they were never on in the problem drive when I installed DW. I checked this with a colleague's computer after he installed DW 2014- and his also shows invisible files in the open dialog box.
Good Luck
