Hi, i have been a sometime user of CS5 and recently got a new computer which meant that CS6 was by default the installed illustrator.
Upon trying it out these past few days though i have found that the snap-to-grid feature just does not work. I create lines and they don't even
react to the grid- i create shapes and they do not react to the grid.
I have seen other threads that have mentioned this problem but the solutions have not worked for me. I wouldn't mind but 2 days ago
snap-to-grid worked perfectly fine! i have changed no settings and yet it now does not work. Snap-to-grid was a vital feature of illustrator
to me, especially for the kind of designs i was trying out. There was absolutely nothing more i wanted out of that feature but now it does not
work. I am begging fr any advice as this is obstructing all my chances to try out designs.
If this is an issue with CS6 is there a way to go back to CS5? That was in my opinion perfectly fine.
