Something is blocking your access to the Adobe Activation servers. Usually this is over aggressive antivirus software and/or entries that have been made (on a Windows system) in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.
Temporarily disable your anti-virus and firewall and renaming C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts to hosts.old. If validation then works, you can rename hosts back, and turn your firewall and anti-virus back on.
