I would run System Restore to a point before the installation attempt to get rid of any bad registry entries, then run the cleaner tool for good measure: CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3
After that I'd try running MSconfig and turn off all non-essential startup programs (especially malware and anti-virus scanners and third-party firewalls) and non-essential services, then re-boot. Ignore the warning about Diagnostic mode and run the Installer again. You can re-run MSconfig after install to restore normal startup.
