Keyframe Caddy is a crude piece of software, but I doubt that it could be responsible for the behaviour, described by the OP.

 

With Animate having native Frame Picker, I can't imagine why anyone would use the Caddy which was popular years and years ago, but the picker should perform much better, covering all Caddy functionality.

 

I'm at a loss what may be the reason for the offsets, but it could be bugs related to Layer Parenting if things are parented, display scaling, camera bugs or something along the lines which messes up the coordinates. The latest versions of AnCC are full of hidden surprises.

It could as well be user error, if he's moved the content inside symbols.

How to make corners of Mocha masks not curved?

I'm trying to mask a corner in Mocha, but I don't know how to make the mask more rectangular instead of curved. Is there a way to make it straight?

Try a couple of youtube videos to get you 'up to speed' with the interaction between Lr & Ps-

Most common problems that cause the "can't find..." symptoms are-

 

*Having a Sort Order like 'Capture Time'.  The Ps file (from a RAW file) is a new file (captured now!) so it will always appear at the end of photos sorted 'Capture Time'.  Changing Sort Order to 'Filename' will keep the Lr Original and the Ps Copy next to each other (alphabetically) in the Grid.

 

*If the Lr photo was in a 'Filtered' list (eg. by keyword or a smart Collection) then the new Ps file may not conform to the 'filter' and hence will not be visible.

 

*Passing a file to Ps by [Edit-In] will have different results depending on the type of file sent. (RAW or RGB, JPG, TIF, etc)

A RAW from Lr will always create a new RGB file in Ps.

An RGB file from Lr has more complications depending on the option you chose. (Edit Original, Edit a Copy, Edit with Lr edits)

In this discussion at stack overflow it shows you can find the fonts available to Photoshop by looking at the app.fonts property.

 

But of course that doesn't work in After Effects because Adobe.

Is there a way of listing the available fonts so that I can write a script that lets the user choose a font, without having to use the shell?

 

For bonus points: why is Extendscript Toolkit stuck in 2011?

Open one of your MP4s in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the report it generates and paste it to this forum. We'll better be able to advise you once we see that that video file is composed of.

 

And remember, as Bill indicates, new video formats are being created all the time. Many video formats in common usage today (particularly phone footage) wasn't even dreamed of when Premiere Elements was released 8 years ago!

I have the same issue.  I think that Flash is behaving differently on Mac than on Windows.  I used the planner in the store today on Windows and now I'm at home using Mac and it doesn't work.  I get the same result you have in your screenshot.

 

I'm on a 13" MacBook Pro (2016 with USB-C) with Mac OS X Mojave.

At a guess you aren't using the 64bit versions of the Google Play Services ANEs? Make sure you grab the updates to all the dependency ANEs as well .

How do I flatten a layer that has frame on it without the frame disappearing

Hello,

 

I'm trying to do something that should be fairly simple - that is place a frame (using the frame tool) around an image and then flatten the image so I can export it as a jpg.  Everytime I do this, the frame disappears.  The rest of the image/layers seem to be fine but the frame does not survive the flattening the image.  What am I missing here?

Nancy OShea, I have a faint suspicion who did and it was not me either. I went to the backroom and other ACP forums and could find no reference to the deleted post. As the englisman stated, they could have taken down the offensive part rather than the whole post

 

The thing that irks me is that I was deemed to be the suspect as this post asserted. It seems to be the englishman's way to badmouth both you and I for having our views which are contrary to his views. This reminds me of the few people that I have met in my life that show an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself (narcissist).

 

PS: I used the term englisman in the same manner as he used frenchman, very hurtful and it is the last time that I will do so.

how to send each page to different email

Hello,

I have a seven pages in pdf document and when the user clicks the "Submit" button, I would like it just to submit each page to different email. Is there a way to do this using javascript? Maybe i do this by one button for all pages, or each page has own button but run by master button? Help appreciated! Thanks!

How do you create and highlight karaoke text but as tabs?

New to Adobe Premiere as a Windows Movie Maker user. I just started today and still trying to understand the basics. What I'm having really trouble with is, how do you create a sequence of text illustrated as a tablature system? For example, like this video except I want the numbers to be highlighted like if it were a karaoke track where the singer has to sing along with the highlighted lyrics.

I'm a musician that creates videos of harmonica covers and I would like in my videos to show/highlight the notes/tabs (written in numerical form) synced to the music so they can know exactly which note to play in, like a karaoke video? How do I go about doing that? Also I would like to overlay a picture of a harmonica right next to the tabs.

Hi Clint:

 

Image > Flatten will flatten all floating layers to a background layer. For example, I am using a frame to clip the square spaceship image into a circle.

 

Before flattening:

Dropdown box3 to send selection to textfield1

How do I get this to happen??

Lightroom Classic 8.3.1 suddenly stopped importing all MOV files on one machine but not another

3 weeks ago my MacBook Pro version of Lightroom Classic 8.3.1 stopped importing all .MOV files from multiple camera brands (Panasonic, GoPro, Nikon).  It reports the generic error "There is a problem with the video file (N)", where N is the number of .MOV files that failed.  The same .MOV files can be handled natively by Mac Preview.  The video import workflow on the same computer has worked for years.  Renaming to .mp4 works avoids the bug, but that is not a solution for import.  This bug is 100% repeatable now and never happened before 3 weeks ago (of course, just before I left the internet for an expedition).  It is possible

This is NOT the same as the intermittent failure of dynamiclinkmediaserver.

 

I replicated the exact same import data on my iMac, and the bug does NOT happen on the iMac.  Both computers are running the same OS (Mojave 10.14.5 [18F132], updated in June on both machines) and the same build of Lightroom 8.3.1 [ 201905241238-dcd7e2de ].  Both machines have similar processor and memory configurations.  The only difference I can see between the two machines is the graphic processor: the iMac uses AMD Radeon R9 M290X and the MacBook uses Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655.

 

This bug has basically killed my entire workflow, because now I have to manually copy and sort the videos from the still images and can't use Lightroom to manage the video assets.   Adobe please look into this so that people with this bug can continue to use Lightroom.

Turn off CSS pop-up box that appears every time I click in the Design View pane

Well! This is annoying.

 

I hadn't opened Dreamweaver in a while, but I still find it's a great way to format Microsoft Word text into HTML.

 

However, on my Dreamweaver CC v19.2 for Mac, every time I click in the Design View pane, just to insert my cursor or to highlight text, I get this dialogue box that prevents me from typing or editing the text in the design view. It makes editing text impossible.

As you can see in my screenshot, I'm definitely in Split Code/Design View. It also happens in just Design View.

 

  • I've tried View > Design View Options > Hide All
  • I've tried ticking and unticking that Disable [Pirate Ship Wheel] Indicator - no affect
  • I've tried unticking Preferences > Code Hints > Options >Enable code hints and Enable description tools

 

How do I turn this feature off?
